Week 14 Male Freshman of the Week

Sebastian had a great weekend of racing. On Friday against D1 competition CSU Bakersfield, he took second in the 100 breast in a time of 55.84, a personal best, second fastest all time for UCSC, and third fastest in the PCSC this season. After that narrow loss, he followed it up with an event win in the 200 breast in a time of 2:02.32. That is a season best and second fastest in program history for UCSC. He also took second in the 200 IM in a time of 1:54.72 and swam the breast leg on the B 200 medley relay with a split of 25.48. The next day at the Simpson meet, he took second in the 100 back in a season best of 52.04, and third in the 50 free in a personal best of 21.83.
