Week 15 Female Freshman of the Week
Amaya Rocheleau, Cal State East Bay
Freshman Amaya Rocheleau played a decisive role in the team’s victories over Division I
University of the Pacific and top Division II contender Simon Fraser on both days of competition,
delivering clutch sprint performances when it mattered most. She won the 50 freestyle in a
season-best 24.00 and followed it with a personal-best 52.58 to place 2nd in the 100 freestyle,
performances that heavily influenced the meet outcome against Pacific. Both of those times have
jumped her into the Top 10 of the PCSC Conference.
