Male Swimmer of the Week –
Balazs Bansagi, Arizona Christian
Balazs Bansagi had great swims against GCU, Simon Fraser & Ottawa. School record in 100 fly 50.58, 46.9
Lead off on 400 free relay, 203.10 in 200 back negative split and 22.9 on his Fly split in the 200 medley
relay.
Female Swimmer of the Week –
Claire Eilers, Arizona Christian
Claire had an in season best in 100 free 53.4, 52.65 anchor on 400 free relay and 23.83 anchor on 200
medley relay. Great in season swims.
Female Freshman of the Week –
Ana Johnson, Arizona Christian and Madi Edwards, Westmont (TIE)
Ana Johnson, ACU - Ana started the season with a 30+ second 50 free, she split 26.56 on her 200 free
relay. Impressive improvement every meet.
Madi Edwards, Westmont - Madi had a great meet for the Warriors during our double dual against D3
Pomona Pitzer and Cal Lutheran. Madi came away with two wins over CLU in the 200 Breast (3rd against
PP) and 200 IM. In the 200 IM her dominant backstroke leg pushed her lead over PP and CLU for a first
place finish overall, swimming a season best time.
