Male Swimmer of the Week

Evan Nail - The Masters University
Evan went 2/3 (3/3 in conference) with event wins this weekend. Winning the 200 IM in 1:46.19
and 200 Breast in 1:58.91 both of which are national leading times in NAIA. He also got out
touched in the 100 Breast in a 54.66. He was also a member of our mens relays which broke our
team records in 200,400 Free and Medley Relays.


Female Swimmer of the Week

Katherine Dyer- The Masters University -
Katherine went 3 for 3 this weekend in NAIA/D2/D3 leading times across the 200/400 IM
(1:59.73 and 4:17.60) and winning the 200 back in 2:01.09. She also led off our 400 and 800 free
relays in times that would have won the individual side in those events (1.49.30 and 50.41). She
was also a member of the 5 school record breaking relays, 4 of which lead the NAIA.


Male Diver of the Week

Caleb Pook- Biola University
Caleb Pook finished 5th on 3 meter board and 4th on 1M board (ahead of the rest of PCSC
divers).


Female Diver of the Week

Taylor O'Malley- UC Santa Cruz
Taylor had a great La Verne Invite, placing second on the 3m board in a score of 216.80 and third
on the 1m board in score of 189.75. She was the highest finisher from PCSC on the 3m board,
and second highest, behind her teammate on the 1m board.

Male Freshman of the Week

Sebastian Santiago- UC Santa Cruz
Sebastian had a great meet at the La Verne Invite. On the individual side, he won the C final of
the 200 IM in a time of 1:53.49, which is third in the PCSC this season. He won the C final of the
400 IM in a time of 4:08.64 which is fifth in the PCSC this year. He also placed 11th in the 100
breast in a time of 57.27, which is 4th in the PCSC, and he took second in the 200 breast in a
time of 2:02.18. That is the second fastest in PCSC this season and 16th in D3. He swam breast
on the B 400 medley relay that took 6th and split 56.85, and he swam back in the B 200 medley
relay that took 7th in a split of 23.64.


Female Freshman of the Week

Namya Sarup- UC Santa Cruz
Namya had an incredible La Verne Invite, most notably winning the 200 breast. Her prelims time
of 2:19.35 is an NCAA B cut, the third fastest in the PCSC this season, and the sixth fastest in D3
this season. She took second in the 100 breast. Her prelim time of 1:04.36 is the second fastest
in the PCSC, and a UC Santa Cruz record. She also placed 8th in the 100 IM, 24th in the 200 IM.
She swam the breast leg on the 200 medley relay that placed 7th, splitting 29.92.
