Week 2 Female Swimmer of the Week
Lexi Fajardo, Cal State East Bay
On the women’s side, Cal State East Bay’s Lexi Fajardo claimed Female Swimmer of the Week. Returning
to her hometown of Santa Cruz, Fajardo swept the butterfly events at the Slug Shootout, taking victories
in the 50 Fly (26.93), 100 Fly (57.45), and 200 Fly (2:08.77). She also delivered a crucial butterfly split
(57.36) on East Bay’s winning 400 Medley Relay (3:54.51). Her 100 and 200 Fly times currently lead the
PCSC.
