Week 15 Female Swimmer of the Week

Week 15 Female Swimmer of the Week

Lexi Fajardo, Cal State East Bay

Lexi Fajardo put together a dominant week of racing, delivering elite-level performances across
multiple events while making a historic impact on the program. She shattered the school record in
the 200 butterfly with a personal-best 2:01.09, earning a D2 B cut, winning the event, and posting
a time that currently ranks 8th nationally. Lexi won three of the four butterfly events, winning the
50 fly (25.50 PB), 150 fly (1:30.39 PB), and 200 fly, while also finishing 2nd in the 100 fly (55.87, D2 B)
and adding a 3rd-place finish in the 100 IM (59.82 PB). She was also apart of both winning medley relays,
anchoring the 200 medley relay (23.56) and 400 medley relay (51.58). Her role was crucial in the victories
over both University of Pacific and Simon Fraser this past weekend.
