2025 PCSC Championships: Day 1 Recap and Current Standings
MONTEREY PARK, CA — The much-anticipated 2025 Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC) Championships officially began on Wednesday, February 12, at the East Los Angeles College Swim Stadium, marking the start of an exciting four-day competition. The opening day featured incredible performances, with multiple school records being broken as top student-athletes from 13 universities across NCAA Divisions II, III, and NAIA vied for the championship titles.
Day 1 saw a packed schedule of thrilling events, including the Women’s and Men’s 200-yard Individual Medley (IM), Women’s and Men’s 50-yard Freestyle, Women’s and Men’s 1000-yard Freestyle, Women’s and Men’s 800-yard Freestyle Relays, and the preliminary rounds of Women’s 3-meter Diving and Men’s 1-meter Diving. Swimmers also participated in time trials throughout the day.
Current Team Standings (Through Event 10)
After an action-packed first day of competition, the standings have begun to take shape. Here’s a look at the leaderboard through Event 10:

Other notable teams include Concordia University Irvine (149 points), The Master's University (91 points), and Westmont College (73 points). Fresno Pacific University (62 points), Arizona Christian University (36 points), and Soka University (23 points) are also in the mix, while Simpson University has yet to score.

Looking Ahead: Day 2 Preview
As the competition transitions to Day 2, teams will return to the East Los Angeles College Swim Stadium at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday for another exciting day of action. The day will kick off with the Women’s and Men’s 200-yard Freestyle Relays (A & B Relays to be swum during Finals), followed by the Women’s and Men’s 100-yard Butterfly events. The Final Round of Women’s 3-meter Diving and Men’s 1-meter Diving will also take place, adding further excitement to the already packed schedule.
