Female Swimmer of the Week

Montana White, Senior, Azusa Pacific University

Montana White has had an amazing start to her senior year at the Rodionoff Invitational this past Saturday! With her swims yesterday, she currently holds the top time in the country for NCAA DII for the 200 Free with a time of 1:51.07 and the 500 Free with a time of 4:56.63. Montana was part of the winning 200 Medley Relay and posted a time of 25.33 swimming the butterfly leg. She also swam the anchor leg of the winning 400 Free Relay with a time of 50.83.

Male Swimmer of the Week

Jacob Haaksma, Senior, Biola University

Jacob had a great weekend with a full list of events for Friday and Sunday. Jacob helped the Men's 400 medley Relay with a victory and a conference-leading time of 3:30.20. Jacob also finished 1st in the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 100 Breast over the weekend. Jacob also helped his 400 Free relay team to a season-best time and a 2nd place finish to end the meet. Jacob's 200 IM and 400 IM times currently lead the conference.

Female Freshman of the Week

Katherine Dyer, The Master's University

Katherine won the 200 and 400 IM this week at the Rodionoff Invite walking away with a 2.06 and 4.29. Both of these times lead NAIA by wide margins and would have easily placed in the top 5 at the conference last season. She also narrowly lost the 100 Freestyle 52.82 2nd and 100 Backstroke 58.39 3rd.

Male Freshman of the Week

Charley Sears, The Master's University

Charley rounded out his first collegiate meet with some great finishes. He finished 2nd in the 400 IM 4:13.05 and 200 Breast 2:12.77 and 5th in the 200 IM 1.59. These set him up well for scoring at conference and nationals in multiple events as he grows into his collegiate career.

Female Diver of the Week (TIE)

Abby DePina, Junior, Biola University

Abby completed her 2nd meet of the season and continued to build off of last season. Abby recorded her best 1m/3m scores since January of last season.
