Female Swimmer of the Week

Charlotte Wilbers, Junior, Fresno Pacific University

Charlotte Wilbers, a Junior at Fresno Pacific led a Sunbird charge as the Birds defeated the Masters University 141-114 in a PCSC matchup. Charlotte led off the winning 400 Medley relay swimming the backstroke leg in (:57.34). She went on to sweep the backstroke events, recording times of (:26.44) in the 50 backstroke and (2:08.27) in the 200 backstroke.


Male Swimmer of the Week

Jackson Calloway, 5th Year, Freno Pacific University

Jackson, a 5th year, led the Sunbirds by winning both the 1000 free (9:43.67) and the 500 free (4:42.41) in an impressive double as the FPU Sunbirds defeated The Masters University last Saturday 181-81 in PSCS action. Jackson’s time in the 1000 is now the #1 time in the PCSC this season, while his 500 Free time was a season-best.


Female Freshman of the Week

Malia Ciolli, Biola University

Malia had a standout performance vs Nationally ranked Pomona-Pitzer! Malia finished with a season-best time and 1st place finish in the 200 Breast. Malia also had her season-best (non-suited) 100 Breast and finished with 1:07.67. She was narrowly out-touched for 1st place in that race. Malia also helped the women’s 200 Medley Relay team finish with a second-place finish.


Male Freshman of the Week

Olivier Petre, Fresno Pacific University

Olivier, a freshman, was once again on fire in dual meet action vs. The Masters University last Saturday. Oliver anchored the winning 400 Medley Relay in an outstanding split of (:45.38). He went on to capture the 200 free (1:40.89) and 100 free (:46.31) then anchored the winning 200 free relay in an Impressive (:20.38).

This is Olivier's second Freshman of the Week award and third Athletes of the Week honors of the season.

Female Diver of the Week

Abby DePina, Junior, Biola University

Abby had a personal best mark for 6 dives on the 3M with a 251.95. Abby also finished 1st on both boards this weekend against Pomona-Pitzer. 

This is Abby's second Female Diver of the Week honor of the season.

Male Diver of the Week

Caleb Pook, Junior, Biola University

Caleb qualified for the D-2 NCAA qualification meet with a score of 481.10 on 1M. This score is also a BIOLA school record.

This is Caleb's second Male Diver of the Week win of the season.
