Female Swimmer of the Week

Tehani Kong, Sophomore, CSU East Bay

Tehani had a tremendous performance helping the Pioneers split their dual meets with Simon Fraser University this past weekend. On Friday, Tehani won her lone individual event in the 100 Butterfly with an NCAA Division II leading time of 54.45. She was also a part of two winning relays. The 400 Medley Relay put up the 5th fastest time in the country, with Tehani splitting a 53.9 on the Fly leg. She also led off the winning 200 Free Relay with the 4th fastest 50 free time of 23.28. On Saturday, she won her lone individual event again with a Top-10 Division II Time of 2:04.04 in the 200 Fly. She was a part of the winning 200 Medley Relay with a 24.60 Fly Split.

 

Female Freshman of the Week

Kali Mull, CSU East Bay

Kali was a key contributor for the Pioneers this past weekend in their dual meets against Simon Fraser University. Kail went a lifetime best in the 50 Free (24.68), while also going a Top-10 PCSC time of 53.38 in the 100 Free, and being a member of the winning 200 Free Relay (24.42 split). On Day 2, she started off with a Top-10 PCSC Time in the 500 Free of 5:16 .07, then 20 minutes later she went a Top-5 PCSC time of 1:55.28 in the 200 Free, while also being a member of the Top-10 Nationally Ranked 400 Free Relay (52.9 Split).

 

Female Diver of the Week

Lorelai Carney, Senior, Biola University

Lorelai had another great dive meet to add to her senior campaign. At our annual dual meet with Azusa Pacific University this past weekend, Lorelai claimed 1st place on both boards (6 dives) in addition to making her 11-dive cut for the NCAA D-2 Qualification Meet in March. Lorelai now holds the top 1m and 3m 6-dive scores as well as the top 11-dive 1m score in the PCSC.

This is Lorelai's second Diver of the Week award of the season!

 

Male Freshman of the Week

Isaiah Porritt, Arizona Christian University

Isaiah swam best in-season times in the 50 Free (21.9), 59.6 in 100 Breast, and 48.6 in 100 Free.
