Female Swimmer of the Week

Aubrie Carver, Junior, Concordia University Irvine

In the midst of winter training, Aubrie led her Golden Eagle teammates to a victory at the Chris Knorr Invitational at Cal Lutheran on January 2. She powered to victories in the 100 (1:00.87) and 200 (2:12.85) backstrokes and helped the 400 Free relay to a come-from-behind victory.

Male Swimmer of the Week

Hunter May, 5TH Year, Concordia University Irvine

The team workhorse, Hunter was 2nd in the 200 Butterfly (2:01.33) and was victorious in the 200 IM (1:58.80) in CUI's win at the Chris Knorr Invitational on January 2. He also anchored the B 400 free relay.

Female Freshman of the Week

Brinkley Hallgren, Concordia University Irvine

Brinkley swept the breaststroke events at the Chris Knorr Invitational on January 2 for her first wins of her career. She went 1:09.13 in the 100 and came from behind to steal the 200 in a 2:32.59. She also posted the fastest relay split of all competitors in the medley relay for the breaststroke leg. In the PCSC rankings, Brinkley is #4 in the 100 and #15 in the 200.

Male Freshmen of the Week

Jackson Rosol, Concordia University Irvine

Jackson, from Reno, NV, won the 200 Backstroke (2:01.04) leading a 1-2-3 CUI sweep and was 2nd in the 200 IM (2:00.38) as part of a 1-2-3-4 CUI sweep at the Chris Knorr Invitational on January 2. He currently sits at #5 in the back and #4 in the IM in the PCSC rankings.
