Female Swimmer of the Week
Jillian Lambert, Junior, Fresno Pacific University
Jillian had an outstanding meet vs. Biola this past weekend. She anchored the winning 200 Medley Relay with a season-best:23.51 split then went on to win the 50 free in :24.02 and the 100 free in :54.19. She concluded by leading off the 200 free relay in :24.50. All times were by far season-best unrested times heading into PCSCs next week.
Male Swimmer of the Week
Sam Slezak, Junior, Biola University
Sam has persevered through a tremendous amount of loss this season. In just his 2nd performance of the season due to losing his father during the Fall, Sam had a breakout performance in his just his 2nd competition. Sam swam a conference-leading 1000 Free time (which would have also won the conference last season). Sam also finished 2nd in the 500 Free (narrowly out-touched by his teammate) with a 4:36.29. Sam's 500 Fr time is now the 2nd fastest time in the conference. Sam also holds the 3rd fastest mile in the conference.
Female Freshman of the Week
Malia Ciolli, Biola University
Malia swam a Personal Best time in her 200 Breast with a 2:22.92 on her 1st-place finish this past weekend. Her time now ranks 6th in the conference.
This is Malia's second Female Freshman of the Week award of the season.
Male Freshman of the Week
Jackson Lee, Arizona Christian University
Freshman Jackson Lee delivered a strong performance, earning second place in both the 200 fly (1:53.8) and 200 free (1:44), along with a fourth-place finish in the 500 free (4:49). He played a key role in every relay, helping secure second-place finishes, including a standout 47.1 split on the 400 free relay.
This is Jackson's second Male Freshman of the Week award of the season.
