Female Swimmer of the Week
Tereza Shea, Senior, UC Santa Cruz
Tereza had a great meet on Saturday vs. Biola. She began the day splitting 23.58 on the free leg of the medley relay which took second, nearly closing the gap on the Biola A team. She followed that up with a win in the 100 free with a time of 52.86, which set a pool record. And she finished the day leading off the winning 400 free relay in a time of 53.55. The relay went on to set another pool record.
Male Swimmers of the Week
Sully Moore, 5th Year, Fresno Pacific University
Sully, a 5th-year Graduate Student, led the Sunbirds with awesome performances in the 50 free (:20.91) and 100 Butterfly (51.04) while being a huge part of the Sunbirds sweeping the relay events from Simon Frasier last Saturday at East Bay. Sully split (:22.15) on the fly leg of the Medley and (:46.42) on the 400 Free Relay.

Massimo Reyna, Junior, UC Santa Cruz
Massimo had a very good weekend. He won the 200 free vs. Pomona Pitzer, a top D3 program in a time of 1:44.54. The next day he grabbed another win vs. Biola in the 200 free in a time of 1:41.65, his best unrested time and setting a pool record. He also took third in the 500 in a time of 4:50.81. And he rounded out the day with a split of 46.13 on the Slugs B 400 relay, which took second in the event.
