Female Swimmer of the Week Jan. 7 - 13, 2024
Hannah Sharp, Freshman, CSU East Bay
Hannah had a big weekend of racing despite the rain and sub-50-degree weather conditions. She went undefeated (3 for 3) in all of her backstroke events. On Friday against power squads of San Jose State and Simon Fraser, Hannah won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:06.70. On Saturday, she won both the 100 and 200 Backstroke with a lifetime best of 57.50 in the 100 Back and much improved 2:04.26. She also finished 2nd in the 200 IM (2:14.92).
