Male Swimmer of the Week

Jan Bialecki, Junior, Fresno Pacific University 

Jan led the Sunbirds in a near upset of Division I University of the Pacific. Jan won 2 events well under NCAA B cut times, recording 49.10 in the 100 butterfly and 20.45 in the 50 free. He also split a 21.41 butterfly leg on the PCSC-leading 200 Medley Relay (1:32.31) and 20.02 in anchoring the PCSC-leading 200 free relay (1:23.34).

Male Freshman of the Week

Rasmus Hanson, Fresno Pacific University

Rasmus recorded PSCS-leading times in the 200 freestyle (1:40.13) which is his 1st NCAA B Cut, and 4:38.75 in the 500 free in a near upset of Division I foe University of the Pacific. Rasmus also led off the PCSC-leading time in the 200 Free Relay in 21.18 and anchored the 200 Medley Relay in 20.41.

Female Swimmer of the Week

Charlotte Wilbers, Sophomore, Fresno Pacific University

In a tri-meet against Division I foes Fresno State and University of the Pacific, Charlotte stood out as she recorded her 1st ever NCAA B cut in the 200 free with a lifetime best of 1:51.98, currently placing her 2nd in the PCSC rankings. In addition, Charlotte also swam a 5:05.63 in the 500 free in leading the Sunbirds.

Female Freshman of the Week

Kya Guikema, Azusa Pacific University

Kya won the 500 Free (5:13.98) and placed third in the 200 Free (1:57.80). She also helped the 400 Medley B (54.97) team to a strong finish. Kya has been a great addition to the team and was a big factor in our team's victory on Saturday.
