2024 PCSC Championships Day 3 Recap
MONTEREY PARK, CA – On the third day of the 2024 PCSC Championships, some teams made the move to shake up the current standings with only one day left of the championships. There were many impressive swims from swimmers across all divisions and more schools reported their school records being broken in prelims and finals. The events of Day 3 were: 100-yard butterfly, 400-yard individual medley, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard medley relays.
After 32 events, Biola Eagles are on top of the competition field. On the women’s side, the lady Eagles of Biola University swam their way to 893 points and widened their lead over the second-place Azusa Pacific University. The Pioneers of CSU East Bay are currently in third place with 786 points. On the men’s side, the top two teams switched places where the male Eagles of Biola University clawed their way to oust UCSC Banana Slugs, but merely by 2 points. Fresno Pacific Sunbirds are in third place with 439 points to round out the top three current standings.

Teams will return to the pool on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. for the last day of the preliminaries and finals at 5:00 p.m.

Senior Recognition
