Male Freshman of the Week
Edgar Betancourt, Arizona Christian University
Edgar set two new school records by winning the 500 free and 200 fly events. Edgar posted 1:57.22 in the 200 fly and broke his own 200 fly school record. In the 500 free, Edgar dropped 6.52 and went 4:43.87 to smash the school record.
Female Freshman of the Week
Hanah Angel, Arizona Christian University
Hanah joined the lady Firestorms in September, having never been on a team, and went 41 in 50 back. During the Firestorm's last tune-up meet before next week's PCSC Championship last Saturday hosted by OUAZ, Hanah drastically improved her time in the 50 back going 33.89.
