Female Freshman of the Week Oct. 29 - Nov. 4, 2023
Kya Guikema, Azusa Pacific University
Kya won the 500 Free (5:13.98) and placed third in the 200 Free (1:57.80) as Azusa Pacific edged Biola in a highly competitive dual meet on last Saturday morning at Slauson Pool. She also helped the 400 Medley Relay B team (54.97) to a strong finish. Kya has been a great addition to the team and was a big factor in our team's victory on Saturday. The win secured 10 Cornerstone Cup points for the Cougars.
