Female Swimmer of the Week

Amanda Anderson, Fifth Year, Azusa Pacific University

Amanda swam in her final dual meet of her collegiate career this past weekend against Pepperdine.  She won the 100 breast in a time of 1:07.41 and she won the 200 breast in a time of 2:22.96. Amanda has been an outstanding member of APU Cougars for her entire career and is a leader of the team this season in a captain's role. Amanda has put up some of the fastest times in the PCSC this season leading into the conference meet in the 200 breast, 200 IM, and 400 IM.

Male Swimmer of the Week

Jan Bialecki, Junior, Fresno Pacific University

Jan led the Sunbirds to a dual meet victory over The Masters on Saturday, Jan. 27th.  Jan won all events he swam leading off by capturing the 200 free in a hotly contested race in a time of 1:41.22 winning by a mere .03 seconds. He also won the 100 free (46.03) and 100 butterfly (50.59). He also split a 22.14 on the fly leg of the winning 200 medley relay and anchored an exhibition 200 free relay in (20.31)

Jan has been named Male Swimmer of the Week for the third time this season

Male Freshman of the Week

Rasmus Hanson, Fresno Pacific University

Rasmus won the 50 free in a time of 21.08, was 3rd in the 100 free (;46.79), and 2nd in the 500 free (4:47.92) while anchoring the winning 200 free relay (;20.84) in a dual meet competition against The Masters University.

Rasmus has been named Male Freshman of the Week for the third time this season.
