Female Swimmer of the Week
Coralie Norenberg, UC Santa Cruz, Sophomore
Coralie won the 50 and 100 freestyle in times of 24.89 and 53.52 over the weekend against University of the Pacific, a D1 opponent. She also swam the free leg of our 200 medley and led off the 400 free relay, both of which got second place. Coralie has been named Athlete of the Week in her first year as a Banana Slug, and she continues to shine as a sophomore at UCSC.
Female Freshman of the Week
Dorka Dancsok, University of Alaska Fairbanks
Dorka won her second-consecutive Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference Freshman of the Week award. On day 1 of the Nanooks' two dual-meets against Cal State East Bay, Dorka split a 1:05.45 (BR) on the 400 Medley relay, won the 200 IM with 2:07.65, and won the 100 Breast with 1:07.10. On day 2, she split 30.07 (BR) on the 200 Medley, won the 400 IM with 4:32.18, and won the 200 Breast with 2:27.51. She is still ranked #1 in the 100 and 200 Breast and the 200 and 400 IM. She has the top 2 times in all 4 events.

Male Swimmer of the Week
Julian Hernandez, Concordia University Irvine, Freshman
Julian had a breakout meet in the Golden Eagles victory over Redlands on Saturday. He won his first individual collegiate race in capturing the 100 butterfly, was 2nd in the 100 back, and provided the fly leg on the victorious 200 medley relay which improved on the team's season best by a full second. The 51.96 fly ranks him 5th in the PCSC, the backstroke swim is #2 on the team and top-10 in the PCSC and CUI's medley relay at 1:34.75 is 1.3 seconds clear of the next fastest relay in the conference.

Male Freshman of the Week
Jude Robinson, UC Santa Cruz
UC Santa Cruz Swim and Dive traveled to Stockton to face the Division I Pacific Tigers in a double dual meet for their second meet of the season. Despite the loss, several swimmers had amazing times.
Jude won the 200 fly in a time of 1:55.47 over the weekend and took 3rd in the 100 fly in a time of 52.11 against division 1 opponent, University of the Pacific.
Jude’s 200 fly time is now the 2nd fastest in the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference only behind a Division II swimmer while his 100 fly time is ranked 7th in the conference.
