2024 National Championships Recap
Long Beach, Calif. — Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive student-athletes had great success at the national championships throughout the divisions and wrapped up their 2023-2024 season with some of the best performances in their respective school histories, breaking many school records and finishing well in both the individual and overall rankings. PCSC sent 14 swimmers and divers to the NCAA Division II Nationals, four swimmers to the NCAA Division III Nationals, and 25 swimmers, including three alternates, to the NAIA National Championships.
The first national championship was the NAIA Nationals Championships held at the Columbus Aquatics Center in Columbus, Georgia from March 3-9. Among the six PCSC NAIA schools, 25 swimmers, including 3 alternates, from Arizona Christian University, Ottawa University Arizona, Soka University, and The Master’s University raced at the NAIA nationals with great success.

Arizona Christian University

The men’s squad placed 17th overall with 13 points; the women’s squad placed 13th overall with 36 points
Ottawa University Arizona

The men’s squad placed 19th overall with 7 points
Soka University

Nicole Skrzypek placed 17th place after prelims in a 3-way tie requiring a swim-off in 50 free, and finished 2nd in the swim-off to place 18th overall; In 100 free, she placed 30th overall.
The Master’s University

The men’s team finished in 7th place overall with 126 points; the women’s team finished in 9th place overall with 139 points.
The next national championships were the NCAA Division II and Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC) has three men’s and seven women’s NCAA Division II member schools (Biola University, Concordia University Irvine, Fresno Pacific University for men’s; Azusa Pacific University, Biola University, California State University East Bay, Concordia University Irvine, Fresno Pacific University, University of Alaska Fairbanks, and Westmont College for women’s) and one NCAA Division III member school–University of California Santa Cruz. Among the seven PCSC member schools, 14 swimmers and divers from Azusa Pacific, Biola, CSU East Bay, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks competed at the 2024 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.
This year’s NCAA Division II national championships were held from March 12-16 at the SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio while the NCAA Division III national championships were held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina from March 20-23.
