Male Freshman of the Week (10/1/2023 - 10/7/2023)
Edgar Betancourt, Arizona Christian University
On Saturday, 10/7, the Arizona Christian Men's Swim Team opened their 2023-24 season by competing in the Tri-meet against The Master's University and Ottawa University Arizona
Edgar Betancourt made his Arizona Christian debut count as he set two new ACU program records with his swims in the 500 Free and 200 Fly. He finished first in both races.
Coach Hering said, "Great opening meet with plenty of competition! Coach Rob and I were very impressed with the mindset of our teams and especially the team support throughout the competition. Edgar had the two victories and really impressive back-half finishes in the 200 Fly and 500 Free! Many great in-season swims!"
