Male Swimmer of the Week Oct. 15 - 21, 2023

Male Swimmer of the Week Oct. 15 - 21, 2023

Jayden Hernandez, Concordia University Irvine, Junior

For the second time this October, Jayden claimed the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference (PCSC) Swimmer of the Week!

Jayden was a bright spot for the Concordia University Irvine (CUI) Swim and Dive team in their dual meet at The Mater's University on Saturday, October 21. He is the first PCSC swimmer under 21 seconds in the 50 Free this season with his 20.95 swim. He returned to the top of the podium in the 100 Butterfly with a 50.19 which is also the #1 ranked swim in the conference. His split on the victorious 200-medley relay was an impressive 21.8, helping the Golden Eagles to improve on their #1 ranking in that event.

Jayden and the CUI Golden Eagles will host Redlands this Saturday at 1 p.m. for a dual meet over at nearby Portola High School.
