Male Swimmer of the Week (10/1/2023 - 10/7/2023)

The Soka University of America Lions opened their 2023-2024 campaign at the University of Redlands Bulldog Pentathlon on Saturday morning.
The meet featured 100-yard races in the backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, butterfly, and individual medley.
Highlighting the meet for the Lions was Jaeger, who posted a new school record in the 100 IM with a time of 56.27. He also placed 10th overall in the meet, posting his lifetime best in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.27) while touching in with a second-best Soka University’s time of 49.29 in the 100-yard freestyle.
"The highlight for the coaches was seeing Jaeger's results in all of his races. He had a great summer of training and has taken another step in his development. His 100 IM time was the fastest in Soka's swimming history and speaks to his improvement as a swimmer," said Head Coach Adam Crossen.
