Biola divers showed strong performances during last Saturday's dual meet against Fresno Pacific University as Biola Eagles swept the FPU Sunbirds which resulted in Biola divers sweeping the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference (PCSC) Diver of the Week honors for the week of October 15 to October 21.
With a mark of 188.55, Sebastian finished 2nd on both 1-meter and 3-meter boards at the meet behind teammate Caleb Pook. The junior also showcased his mental fortitude by battling through a knee injury over the past two to three weeks this season and by increasing his Diving Difficulty for both boards each week. As of this news release, Sebastian has the 2nd best score in the PCSC for 1-meter and the 3rd best score in the conference for the 3-meter diving board.
Sebastian and the Eagles of Biola Aquatics will be back in action at the tri-meet against Caltech and Occidental College on Saturday, October 28 in Pasadena.
